Casper to Host State Cup 2008 & 2009
The Casper Soccer Club has won the bid to host the Wyoming State Cup on Memorial Day Weekend in 2008 and 2009. The State Cup consists of a championship division for teams to earn a spot at the Regional Tournament, an open division open to all competitive teams, and a recreational division. Winning the bid took a major effort by club volunteers with help from the City of Casper Recreation Department and the Casper Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Now, the real work begins!
